The English Choral Speaking Team (P. 4-5) participated in the 77^th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival and the competition was held on the 11^th of December, 2025. The team performed a poem by Jean Kenward, titled “Apple Crumble”.

The students who took part worked diligently and conscientiously to learn voice control, timing and group dynamics. Deceptively simple, the recital piece was a complex poem to interpret and students gave their best in the limited time frame.

The competition judge awarded the team with a Merit and commented that our team’s performance was imaginative and well-prepared with good use of voices, movement and gestures. Well done!
